Location: Charlotte, NC

Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

Contract Duration: 6-month W2 contract with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: $55/hr W2, weekly pay

Calculated Hire is supporting a leading financial services client in their search for an Analytics Consultant V to support program and portfolio reporting within a digital transformation environment. This role will focus on creating visibility across complex, multi-workstream initiatives by building reporting frameworks, tracking risks and dependencies, analyzing delivery data, and translating portfolio information into executive-ready insights.


Job Description

The Program / Portfolio Reporting Analyst will play a critical role in enabling enterprise-wide visibility, operational transparency, and informed decision-making across complex transformation portfolios. This person will synthesize data from multiple delivery teams, operational systems, and stakeholder groups to generate accurate, timely, and actionable insights. This role will partner closely with program leadership, transformation teams, product managers, process engineers, analytics teams, and operations executives to ensure reporting supports accountability, strategic alignment, risk management, and measurable business outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to monitor progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, financials, and delivery health across large, multi-workstream portfolios.
  • Create dashboards, scorecards, and analytical summaries that integrate delivery metrics, operational KPIs, value realization indicators, and portfolio-level insights.
  • Transform complex program and portfolio data into concise executive-ready reporting, including status updates, health assessments, leadership summaries, and scenario-based forecasts.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, and alignment with governance standards, portfolio taxonomy, and enterprise delivery frameworks.
  • Support governance routines, including steering committees, operational reviews, dependency discussions, risk escalations, and leadership updates.
  • Maintain consistent reporting templates, intake artifacts, prioritization documentation, and portfolio tracking materials.
  • Track portfolio-level risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies, ensuring accurate categorization, mitigation plans, remediation timelines, and escalation paths.
  • Identify cross-initiative dependencies and communicate areas requiring leadership attention or decision-making.
  • Partner with business sponsors, product owners, engineering leads, process engineers, analytics teams, and transformation stakeholders to gather inputs and validate data.
  • Facilitate alignment between workstreams to ensure risks, issues, dependencies, and milestone updates are accurately captured and addressed.
  • Support value realization reporting, including efficiency gains, cost reductions, capacity creation, operational impact, experience improvements, and transformation outcomes.
  • Build forward-looking projections, scenario analyses, and strategic insights to support portfolio planning and prioritization.
  • Leverage reporting tools, visualization platforms, and analytics capabilities to automate and scale reporting processes.
  • Partner with technology and analytics teams to enhance operational telemetry, data pipelines, reporting standards, and portfolio analytics capabilities.
  • Maintain metadata consistency, portfolio lineage, structured reporting standards, and documentation to support transparency and auditability.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in program reporting, portfolio analytics, PMO reporting, business analysis, transformation reporting, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting large, multi-team initiatives, enterprise portfolios, transformation programs, or complex delivery environments.
  • Strong ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights for operational and executive audiences.
  • Strong proficiency with visualization, reporting, and analytics tools.
  • Experience creating dashboards, status reports, executive summaries, portfolio health reports, risk/dependency trackers, or KPI reporting.
  • Strong understanding of program governance, reporting routines, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, and dependency management.
  • Ability to translate complex program data into clear insights, trends, risks, and recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with senior leaders, program teams, product owners, engineering leads, and business stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and governance alignment.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in operational, digital, AI-enabled, or automation-focused transformation environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise governance structures, PMO methodologies, portfolio management frameworks, and delivery lifecycle standards.
  • Background in analytics, process engineering, data-driven continuous improvement, or business transformation.
  • Experience building scalable reporting frameworks that support enterprise transparency and decision-making.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Jira, Confluence, Clarity, Planview, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar reporting/project portfolio tools.
  • Experience partnering with technology teams to improve reporting automation, operational telemetry, data pipelines, or portfolio analytics capabilities.
  • Financial services, banking, risk, operations, or enterprise transformation experience.
