Remote in Tennessee (may be asked to come in office 1X per month)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Business Unit Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the Hospital Reporting Tracking System (HRTS) development team. This remote role, based in Tennessee with occasional in-office meetings, is a four-year contract position. The analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements to support the enhancement and maintenance of HRTS. You will work closely with business units to understand operational needs, translate those needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage work items through Azure DevOps. Additionally, you will coordinate with hospitals and business partners to support the implementation and ongoing integration of US SAFR with HRTS, ensuring business processes, data exchanges, and system functionality meet operational and regulatory requirements. The role also involves participating in solution design, testing, user acceptance activities, training, and post-implementation support, while promoting continuous process improvement and effective communication between business and technical teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with business units to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Create and manage user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to define business needs and prioritize system enhancements.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
- Coordinate and validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for completed functionality.
- Support the implementation and integration of US SAFR between hospitals and HRTS, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Document business processes, workflows, and system changes for ongoing reference and training.
- Provide production support, analyze issues, and recommend system improvements.
- Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement of HRTS functionality and related business processes.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools.
- Experience with healthcare information systems, hospital workflows, or health IT integrations.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
