ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a US Medical Affairs Project Manager to support the Solid Tumor Genitourinary (GU) therapeutic area within a dynamic and high-growth environment. This contract role is dedicated to the execution and operational management of multiple product launches, with a primary focus on four GU launches scheduled for the upcoming year. The Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting the core medical team, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, assisting with business planning and budget management, and tracking operational dashboards and contracting efforts. This is an opportunity to join a team facing significant portfolio expansion, requiring a candidate with proven reliability, substantial industry experience, and a strong operational focus. Experience in pharmaceutical launch execution and knowledge of GU or solid tumor therapeutic areas are highly valued. A bachelor’s degree is required, with PMP certification strongly desired and change management certification considered a plus.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and coordinate execution of medical affairs activities for GU solid tumor product launches, ensuring timely and compliant delivery

- Support business planning (BP) and manage budgets for launch-related initiatives, working closely with the operations manager
- Track project dashboards, timelines, and contracting efforts to ensure operational excellence and transparency
- Maintain continuity of operations during a team member’s maternity leave and provide overlap support upon their return
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to launch timelines and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards throughout project execution
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices for high-volume launch environments, supporting a team with significant portfolio expansion
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven reliability and ability to work compliantly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment—must not "drop the ball"

- Experience supporting cross-functional medical teams and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders
- Experience with business planning and budget management
- Ability to track dashboards and manage contracting efforts
