Remote/Hybrid (Oregon)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our Medicare Sales & Growth team as a Medicare Sales Agent, where you will play a vital role in educating and enrolling Medicare-eligible individuals into Medicare Advantage and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP). Reporting to the Medicare Sales Supervisor or Sales Manager, you will engage prospective members through inbound and outbound outreach, community events, referrals, and lead generation activities. As a trusted advisor, you will help individuals understand plan benefits, eligibility requirements, provider networks, and enrollment options, ensuring full compliance with CMS and Medicare marketing regulations. This contract position supports membership growth, retention, and market expansion initiatives, and is ideal for candidates passionate about helping seniors and underserved populations access healthcare coverage that meets their needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct inbound and outbound sales activities with Medicare-eligible prospects
  • Educate beneficiaries on Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, and other available plan options
  • Complete needs assessments and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Guide members through the enrollment process and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately
  • Follow CMS, state, and health plan compliance requirements during all member interactions
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of member conversations and sales activities within CRM systems
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns, referrals, and prospective member inquiries
  • Collaborate with community organizations, providers, and internal teams to support enrollment initiatives
  • Meet or exceed individual enrollment, retention, and productivity goals
  • Stay current on Medicare regulations, plan benefits, competitive offerings, and market trends
  • Participate in community outreach events, educational seminars, health fairs, and enrollment meetings as needed

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of health insurance, Medicare, or healthcare sales experience
  • Active Health & Life Insurance License or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage and D-SNP products
  • Experience working in a goal-oriented sales environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to explain complex healthcare concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Current AHIP certification (preferred)
  • Experience selling Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, Medicaid, or managed care products (preferred)
  • Previous call center or telesales experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual capabilities, especially in Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, or other relevant languages (preferred)
  • Experience working with vulnerable or underserved populations (preferred)
  • Consultative sales skills and customer service excellence
  • Compliance and regulatory adherence
  • Relationship management and enrollment processing
  • Problem solving and CRM utilization
