On-Site Role (5 days/week)
Compensation: $35-$40 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join one of Denver’s largest and most award-winning in-house creative teams as a Designer II. Our client is a full-service, in-house ad agency dedicated to delivering high-impact creative grounded in business knowledge, creative expertise, and a passion for their brands. As a Mid-level Designer, you will play a key role in shaping entertainment industry marketing assets, supporting brand evolution, and contributing to enterprise event initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Denver/Englewood area, offering the opportunity to fast-track your career growth while working alongside a dynamic team of copywriters, graphic designers, and creative strategists. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, pushing creative boundaries and delivering exceptional results across digital, social, print, and broadcast platforms.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Navigate a diverse range of design projects, from innovative conceptual thinking to cutting-edge digital production, across digital, social, print, and broadcast platforms
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously under the guidance of an Art Director, ensuring timely and flawless execution
- Understand client vision, requirements, and expectations, translating them into unique, effective, and on-brand designs
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including copywriters, strategists, and other designers—to bring creative concepts to life that elevate the brand and drive engagement
- Apply knowledge of industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to generate fresh, innovative ideas and solutions
- Assist in the implementation and testing of new design tools and processes to improve team efficiency and output quality
- Utilize generative technology and AI tools to create conceptual work and refine it into polished, professional-grade creative assets that meet evolving industry trends
- Maintain high proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for all aspects of design execution
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail throughout the design process
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of brand and enterprise event initiatives, supporting the agency’s mission to deliver high-impact creative solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3-5 years of relevant experience working in-house or at an agency
- Ability and willingness to work in-office 5 days a week at the Englewood location
- Online portfolio showcasing a diverse range of strategic design and advertising projects, demonstrating proficiency in design thinking and articulation
- High proficiency in Figma, including components and design libraries
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience with generative models (e.g., Nano Banana, Midjourney) and LLMs (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) for creative ideation and execution
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, gChat, Meet)
- Proven ability to work quickly on tight timelines with flawless execution
- Strong understanding of branding and marketing principles
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and focused approach to executing design concepts
- Experience with animation/motion design and project management tools is a plus
- Creative problem-solver and strong decision-maker who thrives on pushing creative boundaries and delivering exceptional results
