Houston, TX
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $27 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about making the purchase of complex products easy and exciting? Join our Fortune 50 retail client as a Product Experience Analyst in Houston, TX (hybrid). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and configuring highly customizable products using proprietary software for both online and in-store applications. You will partner closely with the merchandising department to execute strategic objectives related to assortment strategy and expansion, ensuring that product launches are seamless, intuitive, and deliver on all promises made. Your work will directly impact the customer experience by creating logical, frictionless ecommerce product configuration flows, performing timely product updates, and providing technical support to Call Center associates. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and configure highly complex, customizable products using proprietary software for online and in-store purchase experiences
- Create logical, clear, and user-friendly ecommerce product configuration flows with minimal friction and superior clarity
- Perform routine product configuration updates within highly sensitive time constraints
- Develop and implement product customization and conditional logic to support configuration limitations and possibilities
- Provide ongoing technical product support to Call Center associates
- Execute product update and quality assurance initiatives, adhering to strict QA standards and demonstrating impeccable attention to detail
- Actively participate in technical and UX-related product initiatives, serving as a vocal contributor
- Manage and own all relevant steps of product build and updates, including cross-department communication, task verification, troubleshooting, and ensuring project completion
- Proactively and aggressively improve product setup integrity and processes to enhance the overall site experience, as demonstrated by key site metrics
- Assist with continual process improvement initiatives
- Act as a product and configuration thought leader to support advancement initiatives
- Follow tasks and projects through to satisfactory completion across all stakeholders
- Partner with merchandising to execute on strategic objectives related to assortment strategy and expansion
WHAT YOU BRING
- Self-starter with strong motivation and ability to excel under minimal supervision
- Proven track record of executing multiple tasks in a results-driven environment
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage own workload
- Ability to identify and act on merchandising opportunities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) preferred
- Proficiency with Excel
- Excellent collaboration skills and openness to constructive feedback
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
