Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

$22.50-23.50/hr (W2) | Weekly Pay

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a Fortune 100 Financial Services company, is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Representative II to join their Commercial Loan Servicing Perfections team in San Antonio, TX on a hybrid schedule. This team plays a critical role in the post-closing commercial loan lifecycle by ensuring the client’s collateral interests are properly perfected and protected. Once a commercial loan has been booked, you will review loan and collateral documentation, verify lien positions, complete perfection-related activities, resolve documentation exceptions, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure loans meet servicing and compliance requirements.


This is a fast-paced, production-driven environment where you’ll manage an active pipeline of commercial loan transactions while meeting established service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate has a foundation in commercial loan servicing, enjoys working in a high-volume operational environment, and is passionate about accuracy, organization, and continuous learning. This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity for full-time conversion based on performance, offering professional growth and cross-training opportunities within Commercial Loan Servicing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • Manage a daily pipeline of assigned commercial loan transactions while meeting established production and SLA metrics.
  • Perform post-closing perfection reviews to ensure the client’s collateral interests are properly documented and protected.
  • Review commercial loan documentation, collateral documents, and related servicing records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support perfection activities involving various commercial collateral types, including UCC-related assets and lien documentation.
  • Identify missing or incorrect documentation and resolve documentation exceptions.
  • Research loan information using multiple servicing platforms, including LoanIQ, AFS, nCino, and internal workflow systems.
  • Process assigned Service Requests within established turnaround times while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Front Office partners, Legal teams, Title Companies, and internal servicing teams to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Monitor assigned work items, prioritize competing deadlines, and proactively manage aging transactions.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and update workflow status throughout the servicing process.
  • Participate in quality control feedback, cross-training opportunities, and continuous process improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING


  • 2+ years of commercial loan servicing, commercial loan operations, post-closing, or related commercial banking experience.
  • Experience reviewing commercial loan documentation and collateral documents.
  • Understanding of post-closing servicing processes and commercial loan operations.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume production pipeline while meeting multiple service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience researching loans across multiple systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across business partners.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Preferred: Experience with commercial collateral documentation or collateral review.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with UCC filings, lien perfection, continuations, or amendments.
  • Preferred: Experience using LoanIQ, AFS, nCino, or similar commercial loan servicing platforms.
  • Preferred: Previous experience working in a production-based commercial banking operations environment.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting commercial loan documentation exceptions or collateral servicing.
