This role is responsible for ensuring biomedical devices are functioning safely and efficiently through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and safety inspections on biomedical equipment<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of medical devices<\/li>\n<li>Respond to service requests and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Document all service activities, maintenance, and repairs accurately<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper equipment operation and usage<\/li>\n<li>Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and basic configuration<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience in biomedical equipment repair and maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with a variety of biomedical devices (e.g., infusion pumps, patient monitors, beds)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and customer service skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate\u2019s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with CMMS systems for work order tracking<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturer certifications or training (nice to have)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>BMET &#8211; Tacoma General Tacoma, Washington<\/p>\n<p>For over 16 years, Medasource has established and maintained relationships that are designed to meet your IT staffing needs.
