This entry-level position is designed to provide foundational experience in a laboratory environment, supporting testing operations in accordance with established procedures and ISO 17025 standards. You will gain exposure to complex equipment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while building your technical skillset. The ideal candidate is curious, coachable, and eager to grow within a team that prioritizes learning and long-term development. This role offers opportunities for technical skill development, compliance with safety and quality standards, and long-term career growth.\n<\/p>\n<h3>WHAT YOU&#8217;LL DO<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements, and ISO 17025 standards<\/li>\n<li>Set up, operate, and maintain complex laboratory equipment and instrumentation<\/li>\n<li>Execute test unit setup based on lab procedures and test request specifications<\/li>\n<li>Perform scheduled instrument verification checks and facility maintenance tasks<\/li>\n<li>Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair test units, equipment, and facility systems<\/li>\n<li>Identify, document, and report nonconformities or abnormal testing conditions<\/li>\n<li>Create accurate records of testing activities in accordance with laboratory documentation requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all laboratory standards, procedures, and clean work environment expectations<\/li>\n<li>Maintain awareness and adherence to EH&#038;S safety policies and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate and communicate effectively with laboratory and project teams<\/li>\n<li>Support continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory operations<\/li>\n<li>Implement corrective and preventative actions when issues are identified<\/li>\n<li>Obtain and maintain relevant certifications (fork truck, scissor lift, refrigerant handling, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to other technicians (senior-level responsibilities only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT YOU BRING<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate\u2019s degree in HVAC&#038;R or equivalent hands-on experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a mechanical test lab or field service environment (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Relevant certifications such as EPA 608<\/li>\n<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused, growth-oriented culture<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship or training experience (preferred)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WHAT&#8217;S IN IT FOR YOU<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance<\/li>\n<li>Health Savings Account (HSA) and Dependent Care FSA<\/li>\n<li>Supplemental coverage options<\/li>\n<li>401(k) plan with company match and full vesting upon eligibility<\/li>\n<li>Paid time off, sick time, and paid company holidays<\/li>\n<li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with services such as virtual counseling, financial and legal services, and life coaching<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for technical skill development and long-term career growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION<\/h3>\n<p>\n<strong>Equal Employment Opportunity:<\/strong> We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants.
