Overview

Our Fortune 50 healthcare client is seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Developer to join their Digital Solutions team. This team builds and enhances modern web and mobile applications that support a seamless digital experience for customers and internal users.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer with approximately 2 years of professional experience who is looking to grow within a collaborative, enterprise-level engineering environment. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in software development, enjoys learning new technologies, and is excited to contribute across both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack web applications within an enterprise healthcare environment
• Build and support back-end applications and services primarily using .NET Core
• Develop and integrate APIs using REST and GraphQL
• Contribute to front-end development using Vue.js
• Support the development and integration of microservices-based applications
• Collaborate with other software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver new features and functionality
• Participate in application development across both web and mobile platforms
• Troubleshoot application issues, debug code, and assist with identifying and resolving defects
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development standards
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work within an Agile development environment and contribute to sprint planning and team ceremonies
• Learn and adopt new technologies and development practices as the team's platforms evolve

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of professional software development experience
• Experience developing applications using .NET Core / C#
• Experience with modern front-end development, preferably Vue.js
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with GraphQL
• Understanding of microservices architecture and development
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software development principles
• Experience working with Git or similar source control tools
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing for mobile applications in addition to web applications
• Exposure to Microsoft Teams or Teams-based application development
• Experience working with both front-end and back-end technologies in a full stack capacity
• Familiarity with cloud-based development environments
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development team
• Healthcare or other large enterprise experience
