Digital Product Owner Associate
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $28-32.5 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking a Digital Product Owner Associate responsible for collaborating with design, technology, and analytics partners to manage new digital features from ideation through production release within Agile development frameworks. The role focuses on ensuring key metrics are met, introducing innovative digital solutions, and building trust to exceed customer expectations. The associate will work closely with business partners to align product development with business goals and customer value, maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories, develop detailed specifications, and participate in Agile team ceremonies. Additional responsibilities include engaging in customer usability testing, partnering with UX/UI teams, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, tracking performance indicators, and maintaining product documentation. The Digital Product Owner Associate is also responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. The role is accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience, and consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types while operating within the Bank's risk appetite.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
  • Work with lead project managers, technical leads, and Agile Scrum teams to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles
  • Develop detailed specifications for product features to ensure clarity for development teams
  • Collaborate with Agile Scrum team on new feature development, including building backlog, contributing to/reviewing/approving user stories, sprint support, QA testing, and participating in agile team ceremonies such as sprint reviews/demos
  • Engage with research teams to define and implement customer usability testing, concept validation, and co-creation studies to gain insights and identify customer needs and solutions
  • Partner with design and user experience colleagues to ensure an intuitive, customer-research led UX/UI that meets customer needs
  • Work with cross-functional teams (business, operations, legal, compliance, information security, fraud) to secure buy-in, approval, and guidance
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators and establish annual goals and objectives for products
  • Provide transparency and ongoing communications with business partners and key stakeholders
  • Maintain and provide product information to servicing partners for contact center training documentation
  • Actively monitor industry trends and participate in relevant forums, professional associations, and conferences
  • Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Promote a positive customer experience by consistently doing the right thing for customers and colleagues

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Digital product management experience preferred
  • Experience working in Agile development preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work through complex concepts/data and present well thought-out, simple solutions
  • Effortlessly collaborative with strong intellectual curiosity and creative problem solving
  • Ability to self-motivate and work well independently and with different teams
  • Strong presence with ability to interact with and influence all levels of the organization
  • Ability to have fun and a willingness to try new things and challenge the status quo
