Business Analyst & Office 365 Performance Engineer – Elevate Program
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $35 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking entry-level professionals for two distinct roles within their Elevate program: Junior Business Analyst and Office 365 Performance Engineer. The Junior Business Analyst will support business, QA, and technology teams through documentation, coordination, and content management, gaining hands-on experience in enterprise environments while developing core business analysis and collaboration skills. Responsibilities include maintaining SharePoint sites, creating presentations, supporting architecture review processes, and participating in mentorship and learning opportunities. The Office 365 Performance Engineer will join the end user services team to perform daily testing of Office 365 products, identify and escalate issues, analyze user feedback, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure optimal performance and a seamless user experience. Both roles offer exposure to enterprise technologies, opportunities for skill development, and access to professional training and mentorship through the Elevate program.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support day-to-day business analysis and administrative activities, including documentation, tracking, and cross-team coordination
- Assist with SharePoint site maintenance, ensuring content is organized, current, and easy to navigate
- Create and update presentations and supporting materials using Microsoft PowerPoint for team meetings and reviews
- Collaborate with QA, architecture, and governance teams to support alignment with enterprise standards and processes
- Help prepare, organize, and maintain materials used in architecture review processes and governance forums
- Contribute to content management efforts by improving document structure, consistency, and usability across SharePoint environments
- Support a growing focus on QA, architecture, and governance alignment across teams by ensuring documentation and processes are accurate and up to date
- Participate in mentorship and learning opportunities, gaining exposure to enterprise review processes, documentation standards, and collaboration platforms
- Test Office 365 products daily on various devices to ensure optimal performance
- Identify, document, and escalate issues before they impact users
- Analyze issue patterns and provide insights for resolution
- Evaluate features from technical and user perspectives
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure a seamless user experience
- Develop test cases and use cases based on end user interactions
- Provide daily/weekly ticket data, including demand patterns and ticket age
- Report on issues and root causes to relevant stakeholders
- List and track upcoming features from vendors with release dates
- Create content for newsletters and internal communications
- Provide technical documentation such as FAQs and best practices
- Communicate vendor-triggered issues to the organization
- Understand and evaluate user experience for functionality and responsiveness
- Collect and analyze user feedback to improve system performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues and debug code as needed
- Perform system administration and engineering tasks
- Utilize networking knowledge to support system infrastructure
- Work with Office 365 and G Suite, including co-authoring Google Docs
- Handle telecom-related tasks as required
- Manage identity governance and access controls
- Work with SharePoint, PowerPoint, Slack, Teams, and other collaboration platforms
WHAT YOU BRING
- Basic to intermediate experience with SharePoint (site navigation, content updates, or administrative support)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Familiarity with PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear, well-organized presentations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Basic understanding of Office 365 products and performance testing
- Proficiency in Office 365 and G Suite
- Familiarity with Slack and Teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with coding and debugging
- Experience with system administration and networking
- Knowledge of IAM and identity governance
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to learn independently and demonstrate curiosity
- Exposure to business process documentation or modeling tools (e.g., Signavio) is a plus
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other enterprise platforms is a plus
- Introductory experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is a plus
- Interest in or exposure to Microsoft Copilot or AI-enabled productivity tools is a plus
