Columbus, OH

$58-62/hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, Brooksource, is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to lead and deliver multiple technology projects from inception to completion in Columbus, OH. In this hands-on, strategic role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and ensure all initiatives align with business priorities and established delivery processes. You will drive consistency across Cybersecurity, Technology, and Business Units, streamline processes, manage objectives and key results (OKRs), and ensure timely project releases. The IT Program Manager will also be responsible for tracking project progress, reporting on key metrics, managing budgets, supporting vendor strategy, and driving improvements in productivity, budget, and schedule variances. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring transparency, accountability, and successful delivery of complex technology initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and deliver multiple technical projects from initiation to completion within an agile organization
- Establish project plans, set goals and objectives, and ensure adherence to delivery controls, governance, and standards
- Drive alignment and consistency across Cybersecurity, Technology, and Business Units for initiatives and projects
- Engage with cross-functional leaders to streamline processes, manage OKRs, and ensure timely releases
- Track and report project progress against key milestones and metrics to ensure transparency and accountability
- Create and manage total cost of delivery and total cost of ownership reporting
- Facilitate effective meetings and drive detailed discussions to align stakeholders
- Own and improve metrics such as productivity, budget, schedule variances, ROI, and business investment
- Collaborate with Finance and Procurement for accurate business case, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor strategy execution
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- PMP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or related certification required
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Technical Program Management or related field
- Proven experience managing complex technology initiatives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and in teams
- Results-oriented with strong issue resolution skills
- Strong time management skills
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies preferred
- Ability to embrace diverse thinking styles
- Technical acumen to assess risk in planning and implementation
