Power Platform Architect
Remote Role
Contract
Compensation: $150,000-$175,000
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Power Platform Architect / Delivery Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This contract, remote role combines hands-on solution architecture with technical leadership, guiding cross-functional teams through the full solution lifecycle—from requirements gathering and design through deployment and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and Azure integrations, along with experience establishing governance, development standards, and best practices. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic business objectives. Experience in regulated or enterprise environments is essential, as is a proven track record in Power Platform solution architecture and delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Architect and lead end-to-end development of solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Design Dataverse data models, security roles, and governance-aligned business logic
- Build advanced cloud and desktop automation workflows
- Develop Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, star schemas, and implement row-level security
- Lead integrations with APIs and Azure services
- Embed security, compliance, and governance requirements into solution design
- Manage data loss prevention (DLP) policies, governance controls, and production readiness reviews
- Lead delivery teams, mentor developers, and establish engineering standards
- Manage application lifecycle management (ALM) and CI/CD pipelines
- Partner directly with business stakeholders and solution owners to align solutions with business objectives
- Establish and maintain Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) standards and practices
- Support ongoing optimization and continuous improvement of deployed solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of Power Platform development experience
- 3+ years supporting highly regulated or enterprise environments
- Experience owning full solution lifecycle delivery
- Strong Dataverse and Power BI experience
- Hands-on ALM, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions experience
- Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead experience
- Ability to work in environments with security and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting regulated industries (e.g., energy, utilities, infrastructure, government, or other compliance-driven organizations)
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks
- Azure integration expertise
- Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) leadership experience
- Power Pages experience
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications
- Scrum Master, Azure, or other relevant technical certifications
