Job Description:

Aftersales Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst – ADAM BI Data Delivery Team 

 12 Month Contract to Hire

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and deliver technical solutions that align with functional needs by translating end‑user requirements into effective data models, visualizations, and reporting solutions utilizing the Aftersales DataMart (ADAM). Actively participate in strategic planning and solution brainstorming with cross‑functional teams. 
  2. Leverage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence tools—primarily SQL, Snowflake, and SAP Business Objects—to extract, validate, and analyze data from ADAM and other approved data sources. 
  3. Lead and coordinate end‑user testing, develop database queries to evaluate system behavior, identify root causes, and resolve issues. Contribute to an iterative development process to continuously improve team deliverables. 
  4. Partner with internal teams to gather and refine requirements for enhancements to existing systems supporting Nissan Aftersales operations, with a focus on streamlining workflows and improving operational efficiency. 
  5. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and an electronic data glossary to ensure standardization and data transparency. 
  6. Conduct and document data analysis activities including data validation, data mapping, and data design by accessing and reconciling information across multiple source systems. 
  7. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, transition effectively between projects, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned, consistent with the responsibilities outlined above. 
  9. Collect and audit/adjust monthly dealer ecommerce business billing data (debits and credits) from third party eCommerce partner, then process files to correct format, then submit into client non vehicle billing system.  
  10. Work with eCommerce team to audit and adjust monthly dealer ecommerce business data on ongoing basis.  

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Job Knowledge and Skill:   

  1. Advanced analytical skills.   
  2. Strategic data warehouse knowledge & capabilities 
  3. Familiarization of scripts using SQL to troubleshoot query or reporting errors.  
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.  

 

Experience:   

  1. Experience in designing effective data visualizations and data mining software.  
  2. Proficiency in SQL required. Relational database modeling fundamentals required. Web Development is a plus.   
  3. 5+ years of database experience and 7+ years of directly related professional-level experience required. Business, Aftersales, or Purchasing, experience is preferred. 
  4. Technical automotive parts experience beneficial. 

 

Education:   

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Analytics, Business Technology. Master’s degree preferred. 

 

Other Required Computer Skills:   

Intermediate knowledge of data-related end-user desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).  Proficient with mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day to day situations.  Technical and/or programming experience preferred.
