ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to support the analysis, creation, and validation of business requirements while contributing to the delivery of software solutions across the organization. This role blends traditional business analysis responsibilities with light solutioning work and requires someone who is curious, driven, well-organized, and eager to learn how business needs translate into system capabilities. The Business Analyst will work closely with team members to optimize data pipelines, participate in data transformation processes, and support the build and maintenance of data systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate business needs, develop and maintain code, and ensure the quality and documentation of data. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and consistently completes tasks on agreed-upon timelines. You will also assist in ongoing software release activities and help execute the tasks and responsibilities of the broader team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work within the team to expand and optimize data and data pipelines.
  • Participate in build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • Analyze and organize raw data to support business objectives.
  • Participate in the build and support of data systems and pipelines.
  • Work with stakeholders to evaluate business needs and objectives.
  • Develop and update code to meet business requirements and maintain code quality.
  • Continuously maintain code and support ongoing software release activities.
  • Support data sourcing, profiling, standardization, mapping, validation, and documentation.
  • Promote the value of good data and insights within the organization.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business intelligence and analytic tools used by the Enterprise Data organization.
  • Aid in the planning, scoping, and estimation of work efforts as well as the production of quality deliverables.
  • Assist the team in executing tasks and responsibilities to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, business analysis, or related field.
  • 1 year of business or business analysis experience (including internships, coursework, or equivalent transferable experience).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled at facilitating meetings and leading discovery conversations.
  • Ability to ask clarifying questions to move work forward.
  • Comfortable partnering with senior-level stakeholders and setting realistic expectations.
  • High curiosity and drive to uncover true business needs.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to consistently complete tasks on agreed-upon timelines.
