You will be responsible for establishing and managing an integrated testing framework, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with program milestones and workstreams. This role requires close partnership with internal build teams, operational leadership, and consulting partners to validate workflows, identify risks early, and achieve readiness criteria prior to go-live. As the primary point of accountability for testing progress, you will manage risk tracking, defect trends, environment readiness, and deliver executive-level reporting. Operating within a structured governance model, you will ensure transparency, proactive escalation, and disciplined milestone management throughout all phases of testing and conversion support.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Establish and manage an integrated testing framework, ensuring alignment across workstreams and adherence to program milestones
  • Manage the testing project plan, including timeline, waves, milestones, and dependencies
  • Coordinate resources such as application testers, subject matter experts, and resolve conflicts as needed
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for status reporting, RAID (risks/assumptions/issues/dependencies) tracking, decision logs, and escalation processes
  • Track environment readiness and dependencies, including availability windows, refreshes, and access
  • Own reporting on progress versus plan, pass/fail rates, defect aging, and readiness dashboards for executive stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive testing plans, schedules, and executive presentations
  • Oversee budget creation (capital and operational) and milestone reporting
  • Coordinate vendor oversight and cross-functional project teams, driving accountability for testing deliverables
  • Implement and utilize project management and testing tools (e.g., Teams, testing trackers, issue management systems) for tracking and issue management
  • Ensure governance reporting, decision documentation, and proactive escalation management
  • Lead teams through detailed testing and conversion readiness activities, ensuring workflows are validated and readiness criteria are met prior to go-live

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale Epic testing efforts for enterprise-wide implementations in a complex healthcare environment
  • Proven oversight of Epic testing cycles and conversion support activities
  • 8–10+ years of project management experience leading multiple programs across the full information systems lifecycle, including testing
  • Experience managing enterprise-scale initiatives within a complex healthcare delivery system
  • Strong experience developing testing plans, schedules, and executive presentations
  • Experience with budget creation (capital and operational) and milestone reporting
  • Vendor oversight and coordination of cross-functional project teams
  • Governance reporting, decision documentation, and escalation management
  • Implementation and use of project management and testing tools (e.g., Teams, testing trackers, issue management systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through detailed testing and conversion readiness activities
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate within a structured governance model, ensuring transparency and disciplined milestone management
