Wyoming, MI (4 days in person, 1 day remote)

$30/hr

1-year Contract-to-Hire (CTH)


ABOUT THE ROLE

Our large food distribution client is seeking an eager-to-learn Junior Business Analyst to join their IT team, supporting Supply Chain Transportation in Wyoming, MI. This is a full-time, entry-level position with a hybrid work schedule (four days onsite, one day remote) and a one-year contract-to-hire arrangement. The role is ideal for recent graduates or aspiring IT professionals looking to launch or accelerate their careers in the dynamic world of Information Technology.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in creating reports, presentations, and process documentation
  • Support testing activities and validate system changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
  • Track project tasks, risks, and action items
  • Help prepare data analysis and business performance reports
  • Participate in meetings and document key decisions and requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science/Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 0-1 year of professional experience (internship preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills; ability to translate technical requirements
  • Ability to gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing business processes and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Proficiency in creating reports, presentations, and process documentation
  • Ability to support testing activities and validate system changes
  • Collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams
  • Organizational skills to track project tasks, risks, and action items
  • Basic data analysis and business performance reporting skills
  • Detail-oriented approach to documenting meetings, decisions, and requirements
