Lead Technical Analyst – Oracle Fusion SCM Deployment
Remote Role
This is a Remote role.
Compensation: $70/hr-$90/hr
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Lead Technical Analyst is responsible for overseeing the deployment, support, and optimization of Oracle Fusion SCM and other enterprise-wide SaaS applications that enable data collection, retrieval, accessibility, and departmental operations. This role partners closely with technical teams to ensure systems run efficiently with minimal downtime and high data integrity. You will manage system configuration, setup, and updates, ensuring accurate data entry into system databases and developing custom queries and reports to support strategic business decisions. The Lead Technical Analyst provides guidance to leadership on application enhancements, system standards, and performance optimization, while monitoring metrics, assessing risks, and delivering insights to improve system reliability. You will also lead and mentor a team responsible for user training and access management, fostering effective collaboration between cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and operational excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead support and configuration of SaaS and enterprise-wide applications, with a focus on Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory Management, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning)
- Oversee system setup, updates, and data loading processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all relevant tables, fields, and databases
- Develop, review, and optimize complex custom queries and reports to support business and staffing decision-making
- Establish, review, and enforce governance standards for data input, structure, and storage
- Mentor and guide team members responsible for user training and access management, ensuring best practices and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, client stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure system integration, interoperability, and operational excellence
- Serve as the technical deployment lead for cloud deployments, including cutover planning, mock deployments, production releases, and post-go-live stabilization
- Monitor system performance, assess risks, and deliver insights to improve reliability and inform application enhancements and system standards
- Apply security principles, including access controls, role validation, segregation of duties, and sensitive access checks to safeguard enterprise applications
- Represent the enterprise-wide application perspective in technical discussions and act as a liaison for application initiatives
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 9+ years of enterprise software support experience
- 6–8 years of experience supporting enterprise-wide software applications
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM modules (Inventory Management, Procurement, Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning)
- Experience managing SaaS and enterprise systems, including configuration, implementation, and maintenance
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, technologies, and cloud security/access controls, including role validation and segregation of duties
- Experience with data analysis, data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Ability to create, review, and optimize complex custom queries and reports using reporting tools
- Leadership experience, including team mentoring and oversight of database management and maintenance
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, client stakeholders, and external partners
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading cloud deployments end-to-end (cutover planning, mock deployments, production releases, post-go-live stabilization)
- Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle (preferred)
