Cleveland, OH (5 days on-site)
Hybrid Role
$30 per hour
12-month Contract-to-Hire

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an entry-level to early-career Technical Analyst for a 12-month contract-to-hire position based in Cleveland, OH, requiring five days on-site per week. This highly detail-oriented and business-critical role is ideal for someone with an Information Systems, IT, or related background who enjoys working with data, workflows, system configuration, and translating business needs into technical solutions. The Technical Analyst will support several enterprise-wide applications and SaaS platforms, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver application configuration, data loading, document design, reporting, and workflow orchestration. You will receive full training on the OpenText product suite and other internal tools, and benefit from a collaborative environment with mentorship and exposure to enterprise digital workflow, communications, and data systems. There is strong potential for conversion to a full-time role at the end of the contract.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist in configuring, setting up, and updating enterprise and SaaS applications
  • Support document and application design for multi-channel delivery
  • Help set up user access and assist in user training
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in application processes and standards
  • Navigate various data sources to support planning, decision-making, and business operations
  • Assist with loading data into established tables, fields, and internal databases
  • Build reports that support business management and staff decisions
  • Help create user journeys and workflow orchestration processes
  • Research and propose approaches to data governance standards, structures, and storage mechanisms
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks
  • Work with cross-functional IT teams to support system integration and interoperability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors to support enterprise-wide applications
  • Gain hands-on experience with tools such as OpenText Exstream/Core Communications, OpenText Core Messaging, OpenText Core Journey/Insights, SAP Data Services, Snowflake, API integrations (SOAP/REST), NOP Commerce, and web CMS tools (OpenText TeamSite, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, etc.)

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Understanding of system configuration and general SDLC concepts
  • Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with SQL
  • Exposure to workflow automation or business process flows
  • Experience with reporting tools and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • General understanding of cloud technologies and systems security/access control
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to multiple projects
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies; team-oriented mindset
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with data modeling, ETL, CMS, SaaS, eCommerce platforms, or programming languages (Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Visual Studio)
