Software Developer
On-Site Role
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, modifying, and debugging computer software under general supervision. You will research and analyze program or systems problems, develop program documentation, and translate business requirements into secure, maintainable code. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development, particularly with C# and SSRS, and will be adept at writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and implementing multi-level approval processes. Experience with .NET development, SQL Server, web services, JSON, HTML, Ajax, MVC, SSIS, DevOps source control, and data sharing web services is highly desirable.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, code, test, modify, and debug computer software applications
- Research and analyze program or system problems to develop effective solutions
- Translate business requirements into secure and maintainable code
- Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, and related technologies
- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support application functionality
- Implement and maintain multi-level approval processes within applications
- Build and enhance query tools for efficient data retrieval and analysis
- Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation
- Utilize SSRS for reporting, and leverage SSIS for data integration tasks
- Develop and consume web services, working with JSON, HTML, Ajax, and MVC frameworks as needed
- Collaborate with team members using DevOps source control practices to ensure code quality and version control
- Support data sharing and integration through the development of web services
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or management information systems
- Five years of related experience in software development
- Proficiency in web application development using C# and SSRS
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Ability to design and implement multi-level approval processes
- Experience building and maintaining query tools
- Hands-on experience with .NET development, C#, VB.NET, SQL Server, and web services
- Familiarity with JSON, HTML, Ajax, MVC, and SSIS
- Experience with DevOps source control practices
- Data sharing web service experience is a plus
