SAP Developer

Detroit, MI

Hybrid Role (Onsite & Remote)

$40-53/hour (Long-term contract)


Join a leading online banking and financial services IT organization as an SAP Developer, supporting the Enterprise Applications department in Detroit, MI. In this hybrid role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and supporting SAP FS-CD solutions across core financial and insurance-related processes. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions, while supporting system enhancements, integrations, and production operations. This is an opportunity to contribute to system modernization efforts, including ECC to S/4HANA initiatives, and work on business-critical projects in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.


WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • Serve as a techno-functional expert for SAP FS-CD, supporting end-to-end business and technical processes
  • Collaborate with business process teams and domain experts to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Design, develop, and enhance SAP solutions using ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP
  • Lead and support RICEFW development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows)
  • Develop and support integrations using OData/Web Services, RFCs, ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits
  • Design and model OData services using SAP Gateway Service Builder
  • Develop and support Adobe Forms and workflow solutions
  • Implement enhancements leveraging FQ Events and the SAP Enhancement Framework
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production operations, and release management activities
  • Partner with third-party vendors and banking systems to support FS-CD integrations
  • Contribute to system modernization efforts, including ECC to S/4HANA initiatives

WHAT YOU BRING


  • 3+ years of SAP configuration and development experience in SAP ECC 6.0 core modules
  • Strong hands-on experience with ABAP / OO ABAP development
  • Proven RICEFW development expertise (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows)
  • Experience with OData services, workflows, and SAP integration technologies (RFCs, ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits)
  • Solid knowledge of end-to-end SAP processes
  • Experience with CDS Views and AMDP procedures
  • Prior exposure to large-scale enterprise or financial services environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production operations, and release management
  • Experience with SAP FS-CD and SAP Insurance domain preferred
  • 2 full lifecycle SAP FS-CD implementations and/or 1 full SAP S/4HANA implementation preferred
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models preferred
  • Experience supporting Dealer Reinsurance projects is a plus
