Software Engineer
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $28-$32.5

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is seeking a skilled Software Engineer responsible for designing application code, implementing technical solutions, and configuring applications across various environments to address business needs. The role involves writing applications to solve analytical problems, participating in all phases of software engineering—including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing—and designing and implementing product features such as reusable components, frameworks, and libraries in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate will work with strategic customers to containerize applications, develop best practices for application modernization, and automate build and test processes to deliver robust software solutions for complex problems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design application code and implement technical solutions in various environments in response to business issues
  • Write applications to address analytical and business problems
  • Perform all phases of software engineering, including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing
  • Design and implement product features, including reusable components, frameworks, and libraries, in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • Work with strategic customers to containerize applications using expertise in application containerization methodologies
  • Develop and document best practices for containerizing and modernizing a variety of application platforms
  • Code, test, release, and support data-driven solutions
  • Design software solutions to solve complex and analytical problems
  • Automate build and test processes for various solutions to ensure efficiency and reliability

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience in designing and implementing application code and technical solutions
  • Proficiency in all phases of software engineering: requirements analysis, application design, development, and testing
  • Ability to develop reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
  • Expertise in application containerization methodologies and modernizing application platforms
  • Experience with automating build and test processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills for developing complex software solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
  • Experience coding, testing, releasing, and supporting data-driven applications
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
