Our client is looking for a Software Engineer with strong hands-on Anaplan experience to support the implementation of new HR planning systems. This role will focus on Operational Workforce Planning (OWP) and related HR modules within Anaplan as part of a large-scale corporate systems initiative.
You’ll join a small, agile team supporting the internal HR systems and portal—working closely with architects, business partners, and leadership to design, build, and optimize Anaplan models that power workforce planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and configure Anaplan models, with a focus on Operational Workforce Planning (OWP) and HR Workforce Planning (WFP).
- Partner with HR and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop integrations between Anaplan, Workday, and Fieldglass, ensuring accurate and secure data flow.
- Implement and manage security models, user access, and data governance within Anaplan.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize model performance, and ensure successful go-lives (first major go-live in December).
- Collaborate with architects and business analysts to continuously improve model design and functionality.
- Contribute to process documentation and best practices for ongoing Anaplan administration.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building in Anaplan, ideally in HR or workforce planning use cases.
- Deep understanding of Anaplan model building, including modules, lists, hierarchies, calculations, and data integrations.
- Experience with Operational Workforce Planning (OWP) module strongly preferred; ISP module experience also acceptable.
- Solid understanding of integrations with Workday and/or Fieldglass.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and drive results.
