Litigations Paralegal
Brentwood, TN
Hybrid role
Our Client is seeking a Litigations Paralegal based in Brentwood, TN (Hybrid) to support the daily operations of their legal division. This role is responsible for managing case files, conducting legal research, performing initial review of pleadings, discovery, and motions, and coordinating with outside counsel. The Litigations Paralegal will coordinate document collection, organization, and production for discovery, assist with witness and deposition preparation (including witness files, scheduling, and coordination with outside counsel), and maintain litigation calendars while tracking deadlines and coordinating with both internal resources and external counsel. Additional responsibilities include supporting management of outside counsel (budget tracking and invoice review), handling third-party subpoena processes and responses, partnering with legal team members on special projects and initiatives, supporting evaluation and review of execution of disinvite, cease and desist, and other legal correspondence, and creating templates and forms for legal documents while collecting relevant metrics. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, strong Microsoft Office and legal case management/e-discovery software skills, excellent legal drafting and organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple cases and priorities independently. A Paralegal Certificate is preferred, along with outstanding interpersonal, communication, confidentiality, and collaboration skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in litigation paralegal support
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management/e-discovery software
- Strong legal drafting, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities with minimal supervision
- Experience creating templates, forms, and collecting metrics
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a focus on confidentiality and collaboration
- Paralegal certificate preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage case files and perform support functions for daily legal division operations
