Organizational Change Analyst

Hybrid Role

Compensation: $50 - $60 per hour


ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client’s IT Department is seeking an experienced, tactical, and strategic Organizational Change Analyst to help implement organizational change management strategies and tools that support change initiatives and activities within a dynamic IT organization. In this role, you will drive and manage organizational change across IT projects and operations, playing a key part in the company’s agility transformation and continuous improvement efforts. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end change management methodologies, tools, and activities, ensuring successful adoption and fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous learning within a complex, matrixed environment.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Implement and manage organizational change management strategies, methodologies, and tools for IT projects and operations
  • Lead and support change initiatives, ensuring effective adoption across multiple teams and departments
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, leadership alignment, communication and engagement planning and execution, and change impact analysis
  • Develop and deliver training needs analysis, training materials, and change measurement activities
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with organizational change within IT environments
  • Promote a culture of agility, adaptability, continuous learning, and empowerment within the IT organization, enabling teams to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Prepare professional presentations in PowerPoint, spreadsheets in Excel, and documents in Word to support change initiatives
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels through excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Apply agile and change management principles to manage project scope and ensure continuous improvement
  • Manage a portfolio of change management projects with a high degree of effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy


WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as Change Management, PROSCI, ADDIE/SAM, PMP are a plus)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in IT change management, with 2-3 years focused on IT initiatives
  • Experience managing large-scale IT change initiatives and activities in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Proven experience leading change adoption across multiple teams or departments
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies, principles, and end-to-end processes, with the ability to guide teams through adoption
  • Skilled in stakeholder analysis, leadership alignment, communication and engagement planning and execution, change impact analysis, training needs analysis and development, and change measurement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects and one’s own work
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for professional presentations and documentation
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with change
  • Demonstrated ability to apply agile and change management principles to manage scope effectively
  • High degree of effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy in work
  • Ability to promote a culture of agility, adaptability, continuous learning, and empowerment
