Case Manager Assistant (Remote)

Hourly/Salary Compensation Range:

  • $19-24 based on experience and location

Contract Length:

6–12 months with potential for extension

Location:

Remote – candidates in California, Oregon, Utah, Texas, or Nevada strongly preferred

(Candidates in other states may be considered but must work Pacific Time hours.)

Hours:

Full-time, Monday–Friday

Must work Pacific Time (PT) hours

Start Date:

ASAP / Within 2–3 weeks of offer

The Case Manager Assistant provides high-volume administrative support to Case Managers, ensuring accurate and timely handling of case-related information. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed “admin-heavy” work, can follow strict processes, and is highly reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Case Managers with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Manage, update, and organize case documentation in internal systems
  • Prepare and process forms, reports, and case-related correspondence
  • Track case status and ensure data is accurate and up to date
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal team members
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Adhere to defined workflows, timelines, and productivity/quality standards

bSkill Set Requirements:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow strict procedures, policies, and workflows
  • Reliable, accountable, and consistent with deadlines and attendance
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, web-based systems)
  • Stable home office setup with reliable high-speed internet

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or case management support
  • Prior experience with large health systems (Sutter or similar)
  • Previous remote work experience in an administrative or coordinator role
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or case management software

TEducation/Certification(s)/License(s):

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • No specific certifications or licenses required for this role
