Hybrid Role
This is a Hybrid role.
Compensation: $36 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to evaluate, pilot, and scale AI-driven and data-powered solutions within a health insurance enterprise. This full-time, hybrid role sits at the intersection of data, emerging technology, and product decision-making, supporting both internally developed and vendor-provided models. You will gain exposure to a broad range of modern technologies, especially within the AWS ecosystem, and work in a fast-moving AI & data environment. The role is ideal for someone curious, analytical, and eager to learn, offering participation in the Elevate Program—an initiative providing technical training, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement within a dynamic digital environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support assessments for AI and data solutions, including cost, break-even analysis, implementation complexity, and long-term scalability
  • Assist with evaluation and benchmarking of LLMs, AI tools, and machine-learning models, including internally developed and vendor-provided solutions
  • Review and analyze technical documentation such as model cards and vendor materials; identify gaps and follow-up questions related to model capabilities, risks, and limitations
  • Partner with Product Owners and technical leads during vendor meetings, capturing key insights, takeaways, and next steps
  • Create standardized analysis summaries and reports to support leadership and product decision-making
  • Support data analysis efforts across large and complex datasets, working alongside data scientists and engineering teams
  • Contribute to ongoing work supporting an internally facing AI chatbot product, including performance evaluation and model comparison
  • Research new technologies, tools, and models independently, bringing informed recommendations back to the team
  • Translate technical findings into clear, business-relevant insights without oversimplifying critical details

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience or academic background in data analysis, data science, machine learning, AI, or a related field
  • Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and data-driven decision-making
  • Comfort working with and understanding large datasets
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and ask informed follow-up questions
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication, especially when summarizing complex topics
  • Highly curious, self-directed learner who actively researches and explores new technologies
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional partners including product, engineering, and business stakeholders
  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning or LLM concepts (nice to have)
  • Exposure to AWS or cloud-based data environments (nice to have)
  • Experience working with AI tools (nice to have)
  • Prior work in proof-of-concept analysis (nice to have)
