Hybrid Role
Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
Compensation: $32-$35 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a leading health insurer, is seeking a dedicated Business Analyst to join their risk management and business compliance team. This role supports enterprise-wide risk initiatives and partners closely with senior team members to understand, document, and communicate business risks, while helping mature the team’s use of ServiceNow. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and interested in bridging business and technology. You will play a key role in supporting risk and business continuity work, leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, and preparing reports and summaries for compliance needs. This position offers professional development through Brooksource’s Elevate program, mentorship, and the opportunity to participate in a digital transformation within a major health insurance network.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support risk and business continuity initiatives alongside senior team members
  • Meet with teams to ask questions, learn how they work, and help identify potential risks
  • Document risks, understand priorities, and track mitigation efforts
  • Maintain and update risk information in ServiceNow, with increasing responsibility over time
  • Help explain risk topics to non‑technical stakeholders by focusing on real business impacts
  • Prepare basic reports, summaries, and documentation for reviews and compliance needs
  • Assist with meeting scheduling, follow-ups, and ad hoc requests
  • Spend time learning business processes and how different risks affect the organization
  • Utilize Copilot and AI tools to enhance documentation, reporting, and workflow efficiency

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Foundational business analysis skills (elicitation, documentation, stakeholder communication)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Exposure to risk management, enterprise risk, business continuity, or compliance concepts (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, particularly IRM/GRC modules (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of risk terminology or frameworks (preferred)
  • Interest in AI tools, Copilot, or prompt engineering to improve efficiency (preferred)
  • Curiosity and analytical mindset, with a passion for bridging business and technology
