Junior Project Manager
Hybrid Role
Compensation: $30

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Manager to support platform engineering initiatives by tracking and managing risk and security activities across multiple projects. This role focuses on ensuring timely completion of work and alignment with organizational priorities. The Junior Project Manager will maintain project tracking systems, ensure accurate status reporting, and collaborate with agile teams, application owners, and process owners to align on requirements and resolve blockers. You will also assist in developing and maintaining risk mitigation plans, preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership, and ensuring compliance with internal security policies and external regulations. Strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams are essential for success in this position.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Monitor and manage risk and security-related tasks across multiple projects
  • Maintain project tracking systems and ensure accurate status reporting
  • Collaborate with agile and cross-functional teams, application owners, and process owners to identify blockers and drive resolution
  • Support the development and maintenance of risk mitigation plans
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership to track progress and timelines
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations
  • Manage and engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and support project objectives

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience supporting project management or coordination, preferably in technology or engineering environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and agile teams, application owners, and process owners
  • Familiarity with risk and security management concepts
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools and reporting
  • Analytical skills for interpreting data and generating insights
  • Ability to manage and engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of compliance with internal security policies and external regulations
