Angular Developer (Contract)
Remote (U.S.-based preferred)
Remote Role
Duration: Through July 31, 2026 (with potential extension)
Compensation: $70-$80/hr. W2

ABOUT THE ROLE

Brooksource is partnering with a leading law firm to support a critical internal transformation initiative focused on their intranet and enterprise applications. This role sits at the intersection of Angular development and SharePoint integration, where the front-end application is built in Angular and leverages SharePoint as a backend data source (via REST APIs, lists, and document libraries). The team is currently migrating from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) and needs an experienced developer to help ensure all integrations and data flows continue to function seamlessly within the Angular application. This remote contract position offers the opportunity to work on a modern Angular application, contribute to a high-impact platform transformation, and collaborate with a technically driven team with strong leadership and guidance. There is potential for extension or long-term engagement as initiatives continue.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Update and modify Angular-based intranet applications to align with SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE)
  • Integrate Angular components with SharePoint data sources using REST APIs, lists, and document libraries
  • Troubleshoot and update API calls during SharePoint migration efforts
  • Collaborate with internal developers and SharePoint subject matter experts to ensure seamless transition and functionality
  • Support ongoing enhancements and updates to internal applications tied to SharePoint
  • Test and debug API integrations using tools such as Postman
  • Quickly ramp up in an existing codebase and contribute to project deliverables within the first few weeks
  • Identify and resolve issues related to data flow and application performance
  • Work within a fast-moving, technical team environment
  • Accurately update Angular integrations to align with SharePoint SE
  • Collaborate effectively within a fast-moving, technical team

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong experience with Angular (modern versions preferred)
  • Experience consuming REST APIs within Angular applications
  • Familiarity working with SharePoint as a data source (SharePoint REST APIs, lists, document libraries, etc.)
  • Experience using tools like Postman or similar for API testing/debugging
  • Strong understanding of TypeScript / JavaScript
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations or upgrades (nice-to-have)
  • Exposure to Node.js (nice-to-have)
  • Experience working in enterprise or intranet environments (nice-to-have)
  • Ability to quickly ramp up in an existing codebase and contribute within the first few weeks
  • Effective collaboration within a fast-moving, technical team
