Epic Analyst – ADT / Patient Access
This is a Remote role.
Compensation: $83-88 per hour
Contract Duration: Through July 10, 2026 (with potential for extension based on project needs and funding)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a large enterprise health system, is seeking an experienced Epic Analyst specializing in ADT and Patient Access to support scheduling optimization, new Epic site implementations, and operational ticket management. In this remote contract role, you will play a key part in analyzing and optimizing patient access and scheduling workflows, configuring Epic modules, and collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders. You will also support onboarding of new Epic sites and provide ongoing operational support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across Epic patient access modules, including certifications in Epic Prelude, Cadence, Referral, Authorizations, and Grand Central, as well as expertise in Epic Guided Scheduling and new site rollouts. This position requires critical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare IT environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support Epic scheduling optimization initiatives to enhance patient access workflows
- Assist with new Epic site implementations, including onboarding, configuration, and post-go-live support
- Manage and resolve incoming operational support tickets related to Epic modules
- Analyze and optimize patient access and scheduling workflows for efficiency and effectiveness
- Configure and provide ongoing support for Epic patient access modules (e.g., Prelude, Cadence, Referral, Authorizations, Grand Central)
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of Epic solutions with organizational and operational goals
- Troubleshoot system issues and recommend workflow improvements to enhance user experience
- Support operational teams during implementation and post-go-live activities
- Ensure Epic configurations and workflows meet organizational and operational requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong experience supporting Epic patient access and scheduling workflows in a healthcare environment
- Epic Certifications: Prelude, Cadence, Referral, Authorizations, Grand Central (required)
- Experience with Epic Guided Scheduling
- Experience supporting Epic implementations or new site rollouts
- Ability to manage and resolve operational support tickets
- Strong knowledge of Epic patient access workflows and system configuration
- Ability to analyze workflows and implement system improvements
- Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Adaptability in fast-paced healthcare IT environments
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
