Senior Angular / .NET Developer (SharePoint Migration Support)
Remote (Preferred: Chicago, IL or commutable to a major U.S. office)
Contract through end of July with possible extension
Compensation: $65-$75/hr. W2 / $85–$100/hr C2C (depending on experience)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Brooksource is partnering with a global professional services organization to support a major internal platform initiative involving the upgrade of their intranet from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition. As a Senior Angular / .NET Developer, you will play a hands-on role in modernizing and updating several internal applications that integrate with SharePoint. You will work closely with a small, collaborative engineering team responsible for internal applications, APIs, and enterprise integrations, ensuring application stability and supporting critical platform transitions. This contract position offers the opportunity to directly impact the evolution of key internal systems and participate in Agile development processes during a pivotal migration and modernization effort.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Update and enhance internal Angular applications and .NET APIs to support the migration from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Subscription Edition
- Refactor and maintain system integrations tied to SharePoint document libraries, lists, and REST APIs
- Remediate application dependencies as part of an internal platform decommissioning initiative
- Assist with backend services and integrations supporting the launch of a new external website and future data integrations
- Collaborate with engineering, solutions, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain application stability
- Participate in development, testing, and deployment activities within an Agile development environment
- Support enterprise applications and system integrations across internal platforms
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong experience developing full stack applications using Angular/TypeScript and .NET (C#)
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and backend services
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
- Familiarity working in Microsoft Azure environments or deploying cloud-based applications
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and system integrations across internal platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small engineering team and contribute to complex system updates
