Application Analyst IV - Hyland OnBase / OneContent
Remote (100%)
Part-Time, 3-Month Contract (20 hours/week)
Compensation: $65 - $75 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an experienced Application Analyst IV for a 3-month, part-time (20 hours/week), fully remote contract to support a critical upgrade of their Hyland OnBase / OneContent enterprise content management platform. In this role, you will play a key part in technical upgrade activities, application packaging, and deployment preparation, ensuring seamless functionality across revenue cycle and health information management (HIM) workflows. You will collaborate closely with IT and operational teams to validate document capture, indexing processes, and application functionality following the upgrade. This position requires hands-on experience with enterprise application packaging, installer conversion, and healthcare documentation systems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist with Hyland OnBase / OneContent platform upgrade activities
- Validate document capture and indexing workflows across Health Information Management (HIM) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) teams
- Support application packaging and enterprise deployment activities
- Update or reconcile legacy executable installers
- Convert installer packages for enterprise deployment (.exe to .msi)
- Leverage Microsoft Visual Studio packaging tools for application build and deployment
- Perform functional and technical testing with HIM and RCM stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams to ensure upgraded platform functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and workflows
- Document upgrade processes and provide technical guidance as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
- 8–10+ years of relevant experience in healthcare IT or enterprise applications
- Proven experience supporting Hyland OnBase
- Experience with enterprise content management (ECM) or document management system upgrades
- Application packaging and installer creation/deployment experience (.exe to .msi)
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or similar packaging tools
- Knowledge of SQL, PowerShell, and C#
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation workflows within revenue cycle (RCM) and health information management (HIM)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially in remote team environments
