SBA Loan Administrator

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a Fortune 500 Bank as an SBA Loan Administrator, supporting SBA loan operations by managing a complex portfolio and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards. This remote position, based in Phoenix or Chicago, is responsible for administering SBA loans for a variety of entities, performing comprehensive due diligence, preparing and reviewing loan documentation, and acting as a subject matter expert on SBA loan procedures. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, participate in meetings, and play a key role in resolving complex loan administration issues while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Administer SBA loans for individuals, trusts, LLCs, corporations, and partnerships
 - Perform due diligence including UCC searches, title work, insurance verification, and flood certifications
 - Prepare and review loan documentation using LaserPro, ensuring accuracy and completeness
 - Monitor loan status and provide timely updates, including handling rush transactions
 - Ensure full compliance with SBA guidelines and bank policies
 - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on SBA loan documentation and procedures
 - Collaborate with internal teams and participate in pipeline calls and team meetings
 - Support workflow coordination and resolve complex loan administration issues
 
WHAT YOU BRING
- 1–3 years of SBA loan administration experience
 - Associate or bachelor’s degree
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LaserPro
 - Strong understanding of SBA lending requirements and documentation standards
 - Ability to manage complex loan portfolios and ensure regulatory compliance
