Job Description:

Job Title: Epic Inpatient Analyst Lead

Location: Hybrid / Primarily Remote

Start Date: ASAP


Position Overview:

The Epic Inpatient Orders Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Epic order-related functionality. The analyst will manage incident resolution, assist in order set configuration, and ensure daily operational continuity. This position requires strong Epic Inpatient Orders knowledge and a proactive mindset to keep up with the team’s demand.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily incident and optimization tickets within Epic Inpatient Orders
  • Maintain and update order sets to support clinical operations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order-related system issues promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize and close backlog items
  • Support testing and validation of order workflows as needed
  • Document updates and maintain version control for order sets

 

Qualifications:

  • Epic Inpatient Orders Certification required
  • Experience supporting Epic Orders and Order Set workflows
  • Knowledge of Order Transmittal, SmartForms, and BPAs preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple incoming requests and ticket queues
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Independent worker capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision
