Alliance Manager – Data Science & Digital Health R&D

The Alliance Manager – Data Science & Digital Health R&D provides strategic and operational support for partnership and project management activities within the Data Science and Digital Health R&D organization. This role acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders—including Finance, Quality, Market Access, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and others—and external partners, ensuring alignment, transparency, and effective execution across a portfolio of innovative data-driven initiatives. The Alliance Manager manages the full lifecycle of partnerships, from onboarding and governance to performance tracking and renewal discussions. Key responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional projects, facilitating collaboration, overseeing financial and resource planning, maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and ensuring operational excellence through organized communication and documentation. The role also supports audit readiness, tracks project milestones, and delivers strategic insights to enhance partnership value and performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in partnership and project management, preferably within data science or digital health sectors
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to liaise between internal teams (such as Finance, Quality, Market Access, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, IT) and external partners
  • Familiarity with contract management, financial tracking, budget oversight, and spend plan compilation
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, including meeting facilitation, documentation, and follow-up
  • Knowledge of compliance standards, SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements relevant to healthcare or R&D environments

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage cross-functional projects and strategic alliances within Data Science and Digital Health R&D
  • Facilitate collaboration between the Data External Innovation team, the broader Data Science organization, and other internal functions
  • Monitor and maintain SOWs, contracts, licenses, invoices, and project deliverables, ensuring up-to-date tracking
  • Support budget planning, spend tracking, accruals, and resource allocation for partnerships; compile and maintain spend plans to ensure financial transparency and alignment with strategic goals
  • Schedule and facilitate joint team meetings, leadership briefings, and governance reviews
  • Document meeting minutes, action items, and follow-ups to ensure accountability and progress
  • Maintain organized and timely communication across internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure all services and activities adhere to client SOPs, work instructions, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Support audit readiness and documentation integrity for all partnership-related activities
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance partnership value and performance
  • Manage the lifecycle of partnerships, including onboarding, governance, performance tracking, and renewal discussions
