Our Client is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise network infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises environments. This critical role involves deploying, configuring, and maintaining network devices, monitoring network health, and supporting infrastructure expansion, migrations, and lifecycle upgrades. You will design and manage cloud-based and hybrid network architectures—including VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security groups—while enabling robust connectivity and secure access between environments.

The position emphasizes automation and continuous improvement, requiring development of scripts and tools for network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring, as well as integration with platforms like NetBox to maintain accurate network inventory and topology. You will enforce security and compliance standards through implementation of ACLs, segmentation, vulnerability remediation, and regular audits. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including cloud and DevOps, and maintaining comprehensive network documentation are essential aspects of this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid understanding of networking protocols and enterprise network architecture
• Experience with Arista switches and multicast routing
• Proficiency with network source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts and services, including AWS
• Experience designing and managing cloud-based network infrastructure (VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups)
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with network automation and scripting languages like Python and Bash
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Git

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploy, configure, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls across enterprise environments
• Monitor network health, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and support infrastructure expansion, migrations, and lifecycle upgrades in both cloud and on-premises settings
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based and hybrid network infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity between environments
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using infrastructure-as-code frameworks
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and configuration management systems for network automation
• Integrate with tools like NetBox to maintain source-of-truth for network inventory and topology
• Implement and manage network security measures such as Access Control Lists (ACLs), segmentation, and compliance with security standards
• Enforce network segmentation and isolation policies to protect sensitive workloads and environments
• Assist in vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives, including regular audits of network configurations and access policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cloud and DevOps, to support infrastructure and application requirements, and participate in process improvements and knowledge sharing
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures, ensuring up-to-date records of network inventory and topology
