• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: One Weekend a Month. Usually 2-3 hours Saturday and On Call Sunday for Orthopedics
• Call Requirements: One weekend a month
• Required Certifications: Kentucky License
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: No
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 30 Med/Surg, 6 ICU
• Patient Ratios: Patients are treated One on One. Evaluations 45 minutes-1 Hour, follow up visits 30-45 minutes determined by PT
• Equipment: Normal Outpatient Physical Therapy equipment
• EMR:
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapy Experience with Ortho, Neuro, Vestibular, Manual Therapy, General Sports Medicine
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:
• Type of Patients on Unit: Most of the volume is outpatient. Inpatient volume is ortho and medical.
• Personality Fit: Someone who can adapt to changes in patient populations throughout the day.
Good time management skills and knowledge of documentation and regulatory requirements
Dress Code:
• Scrub Color: Black, Khaki, or Stone colored Chino pants. Any shade of Gray, Red, Black, or White Polo Shirt. Includes ¼ Zipper Shirts
• Any unacceptable attire: Tattered clothing, jeans.
