• Number of Beds – 14 OR rooms ( 4 CVOR, 10 MOR)
• Number of Staff –
• Type of staff:
o Day Shift – MOR- 6 OR room staffed, CVOR – 3-4 CVOR rooms staffed) OR operates 0730 10 1500, 6 rooms; 1500 to 1700 3 rooms; 1700 to 1900 2 rooms, 1900 call
CVOR call starts at the end of your shift (either 8, 10,12 hours)
MOR has weekend staff in-house. CVOR no in house staff, 24-hour weekend call instead
o Night Shift – ON call only
• Patient Ratios – 1:1
• Type of equipment –
• EMR – Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• 2 years Scrub tech experience at Adult Care Hospital
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• CST or NCCT Certification
• > 5 years of CVOR experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Cardiothoracic procedures
• Vascular and endovascular procedures

Best personality Fit:
• Flexible, ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• BLS

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
• Shift starts at 0630; Huddle at 0635: 30-minute response time for call
• Artificial nails, dip, gels, etc. not permitted
