Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• 2 years OR Circulating Experience at Acute Care Hospital
• Varied skill set cardiothoracic and vascular surgery.
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• CVOR experience
• CNOR Certification
• > 5 years experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Open heart cases, pump cases, coronary artery bypass grafting, TAVR, Type A and B aortic dissection repair, AVR, MVR, Thoracic surgery, vascular surgery
Best personality Fit:
• Flexible, ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• BLS
Floating Area(s):
• Cath lab for TAVR
Dress Code :
• Scrub Color/Attire – Scrubs provided by hospital.
Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
• Shift starts at 0630, Huddle 0645 daily, 45 min response time for on-call
• Rotating call days based on current employees, 1 RN and 1 scrub tech on call 5pm-7am, and weekend 7a-7a call
• Artificial nails, dips, gels, etc not permitted.
Weekends and On call(if any)
• Weekends covered by on-call 24 hrs Sat/Sun, Call shift during week begins at end of regular shift. Shift ends 5pm, call starts 5pm to 7am, Shift ends 7pm, call starts 7pm to 7am
