Essential Functions Include
- Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items.
- Collaborates closely with stakeholders, product owners, and feature team on developing requirements
- Refines technical and/or business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
- Performs code reviews.
- Responsible for exploring and experimenting with new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve and innovate software products or services.
- Works alongside the development and engineering teams to identify and evaluate emerging trends, perform feasibility studies, prototype new features or solutions.
- Conducts research to drive future product development. Anticipates customer needs, and push the boundaries of technology in order to deliver cutting-edge software solutions.
- Effectively conveys information and presents solutions to engineering teams through demos, documentation, and presentations.
- Delivers effectively in a remote environment amidst ambiguity and uncertainty
Job Qualifications
Requirements:
- Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle in order to improve quality and efficiency.
- 2+ years’ experience in:
- Full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment.
- Hands-on technical expertise in building web applications and RESTful web services.
- .NET Core programming language
- Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks / libraries
- Application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments
- CI/CD and test automation
- Building cloud-native applications in Azure or similar cloud service provider
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Preferences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field or related field or 4 years’ relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MEF (Microsoft Entity Framework) or other similar relational database management system.
- Experience with Domain Driven Design
- Experience with Event Driven Architecture
- Basic understanding and ability to troubleshoot applications running within Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning & configuration management.
- Basic understanding of networking and internet protocols.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with GitOps principles (and tools like Flux or Argo CD)
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or other related tools
