IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
1 call shift every 2 weeks from 6:30 – 8:30PM.
If candidates have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package then they are eligible to apply
Local travelers with permanent residence within the state of Indiana, will be offered $15 below the current bill rate.
Call Requirement: 12-24 hours of call in a 6 week period and 1 holiday shift they are present during a holiday
Average Daily Census: 65-85
Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BCLS
Skillset Requirement: Minimum 2 years experience, Level 1 Trauma Center, Cerner, PEDS, and all surgical services:
i. Neuro
ii. Ortho
iii. PV
iv. Thoracic
v. Urology
vi. Gyn
vii. Plastics
viii. Intubated patients
ix. Peds
Unit Info: Level 1 trauma center, PACU open 24/7, staffed 24/7, receive all specialties except for Open heart surgery as they go direct. ICU/PCU preferred
Must be comfortable working in a large, fast paced facility.
Fast paced/high acuity, We receive many critical care patients especially Neuro
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). **Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS** Shift Info: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
