• Number of Beds: 18 OR suites plus 2 Minor Rooms
• Number of Staff:
• Type of Staff: AORN Staffing recommendations with support staff such as orderlies, anesthesia techs, unit secretaries.
o Day Shift:
o Night Shift:
• Patient Ratios – 1:1
• Type of Equipment: varies per service line specialties
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: 24 hours Trauma Service, 12 hour shifts, alternate weekends, on call assignments
Typical Hiring Profile
Must have : (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH )
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Minimum of 2 years experience
• Ability to circulate Trauma, General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Vascular procedures
• Meditech required
List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
• Total Joint procedures, Robotic gynecology oncology, Craniotomy procedures
Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)
