• Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
• Weekend: Rotating
• Call Requirements: No
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.
• Special Skills/Experience required: 2 Years +

Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set:
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)
• Must have BLS
• At least 5+ years of Experience
• ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• EXPERIENCE WITH MEDIPORTS/PICCS/CENTRAL LINES
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first)
• Chemotherapy Certification preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
• Active TX RN License-Temp License is NOT accepted
Procedures performed on unit:
• Chemotherapy administration
• CHG Baths, including the central lines and dressings
• Central line, mediport access and lab draws
• BLOOD PRODUCT TRANSFUSIONS
• CHEMO ADMINISTRATION
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
• Scrub Color
• RN: Navy scrubs
• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
• Hair – hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
