o Night Shift – 8 RNs
• Patient Ratios – 1:5
• Type of equipment – Bariatric fitted ADLs, Wound Vacs, Drains, Lifts
• EMR – Meditech

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Time Management and Efficiency (Fast paced unit with short LOS)
• Teamwork
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Background in post op surgical areas (i.e. vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, colorectal, and general surgery)
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Maintenance of post op surgical procedure sites
• Wound care i.e. packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance
• Foley Catheter care- Continuous bladder irrigation
• Ostomy appliance changed and maintenance
• Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction
• TPN
• Blood Administration
• Central Line Care and dressing changes
• Bedside Shift Report
Best personality Fit:
• Outgoing, customer service oriented
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
• BLS
