Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
• Scrub Color – Royal Blue Scrubs
• No showing tattoos

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
• 2 RN foley insertion with patient note written who was present
• Daily CHG baths on all patients
• Attending present for all resident placed central lines/intubations/thoracentesis

The ICU at North Florida Regional Medical Center is known for its friendly staff and good teamwork. The team always pulls together to get work completed and ensure all patients are cared for. Everyone is involved in helping each other and staff come to work with a great attitude and willingness to work. We utilize self- scheduling to try to ensure people get their most desired schedules and allow trades between staff members. Both director and manager are easily accessible 24/7 and staff feel comfortable calling even in the night if there is something they feel that cannot wait until the morning. We utilize the artic sun for hypothermia, baxter machines for CRRT, and do a ton of bedside procedures. Goal is to always have the charge nurse out of staff to be available to be a resource for the team members.
