Cath Lab & OP Cardiovascular Nurse Manager

Location: New Albany, IN (10 minutes NW of Louisville, KY)

Schedule: 8a-5p, Mon – Fri

Job Overview:

This pivotal leadership role involves organizing and supervising all aspects of the department, including managing staff, developing and overseeing programs, handling budgets, schedules, payroll, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment. The Nurse Manager will work closely with the Director of the department, serving as an extension of leadership by implementing hospital policies, procedures, and standards within the Cardiac Cath Lab and cardiology services departments. This position demands a strong ability to lead through effective communication, relationship-building, and a comprehensive understanding of both the healthcare environment and business operations. The Nurse Manager will also be responsible for ensuring quality care and compliance with safety and regulatory standards, as well as maintaining positive relationships with staff, patients, and hospital administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing with current Indiana RN license.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • National certification in leadership required wtihin two year if candidate doesn’t have a masters degree.
  • A minimum of three years nursing experience required.
  • A minimum of one year charge nurse or supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • BLS and ACLS will be required.
