Tell us about the unit(s):
• Number of Beds – 12 beds
• Number of Staff – 5-8
• Type of staff: Director, permanent staff, 2-3 RRTs, per diem help
• Day Shift – Director, lead RRT, 2-3 RRT
• Night Shift – On-call team, varies on volume
• Patient Ratios (Estimated) – 1:1, 2:1
• Type of equipment – Oxygen cylinders and concentrators, nebulizer, suction machine, CPAP & BIPAP machines
• EMR – Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS are an ABSOLUTE MUST (and NRP for NICU)
• 2 years of current acute care Hospital RRT experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Stroke Education and experience & NRP
• Director prefer to only consider candidates with previous Meditech experience

• Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, emphysema

Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
