Role Summary

 

  • This QA Lead will be supporting the IIB Modernization project. We are upgrading the existing IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to App Connect Enterprise (ACE). 
  • Must have hands on QA Lead experience, experience with Karate frameworks, testing API, experience leading teams both onshore and offshore, submitting reports, be able to look at automation scripts from 3rd party team and ensure they are up to standards. Experience with CI/CD pipelines on automation scripts. 

Job Description

 

This QA Lead will be supporting IIB Modernization Migration project. Testing on the project will be done by a third party team and they need a QA lead to represent Kroger, and to have Kroger’s best interest in mind. This QA Lead will ensure that the team is following Kroger processes and best practices. This person will not only serve as QA Lead, but will also need to have hands on experience so that they can jump in when needed. 

 

Position Qualifications

·    7+ years of experience in Leading QA teams

·    5+ years of experience developing and executing SOA / API automated test scripts using Karate Frameworks

·    5+ years of experience working with automated test frameworks and CICD Integration using GitHub

   3+ years of experience working with MQ’s/Kafka

·    5+ years of experience with test case management and test case management tools

·    5+ years of experience utilizing risk-based testing techniques

·    5+ years of experience with defect management and using defect management tools using JIRA.

·    5+ years of experience managing test environments.

Key Responsibilities

 

· Author test cases/scripts; and perform test execution for both project and support-related activities. 

· Provide oversight to ensure automation test suites are well-maintained and operational 

· Analyze requirements and provide feedback on completeness and testability 

· Provide accurate estimates for QA efforts including test case design/scripting, test execution, and defect correction 

· Identify opportunities to improve application code quality by increasing unit and integration test coverage 

· Leverage technical expertise to develop maintain and execute automation tests 

· Provide ideas and feedback on test automation frameworks and opportunities to improve 

· Participate in all ceremonies, meetings, and sessions held for the project and team 

· Assist with building and maintaining test environments and driving their best use 

· Understand customer’s core quality metrics and how to utilize them to foster quality improvement
